Denise L. Nielsen*

Special Projects

Denise brings creativity and organization to client appreciation activities, ensuring memorable experiences for our valued clients – especially during the holiday season.

Married to John Nielsen for over 42 years, Denise spent nearly 35 years in Ventura County, where they raised their seven children before relocating to Salt Lake City.

A dedicated community leader, Denise, has served as a regional chair for multiple political campaigns, ranging from state Senate to Presidential races. Her passion for civic engagement extends to her work with the Reagan Legacy Foundation, where she chaired Educational Programs and developed the Liberty Education Tours, an exchange program fostering collaboration between U.S. and European students. Her efforts have been instrumental in preserving and perpetuating the legacy of President Reagan while educating the next generation of leaders.

Before moving to Utah, Denise dedicated over eight years to the Ventura County Mental Health Board, serving as a liaison between the community, the Behavioral Health Department, and the Board of Supervisors. In this role, she evaluated needs, reviewed programs, monitored progress, and made recommendations on mental health services in the county. Her primary mission was to educate, advocate, and improve access to effective mental health resources for the Ventura County community.

Outside of her office and community work, Denise is active in the special needs community, organizing social events and support activities to foster inclusion and connection. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with family.
